Developing a mindfulness practice can be life-changing. Once we started mindful living it shifted our focus to realizing all we are truly capable of as opposed to all we are not. It taught us that sometimes it’s ok to slow down and just breathe.
Mindfulness shows you to be grateful for all that you have. When you are mindful you learn to enjoy the little things and to stop being so hard on yourself. It shows you how to be present and realize that at this moment everything is ok.
There are many ways to practice mindfulness in your day today. Meditation is a key player. But, you can practice mindfulness all throughout the day, not just when you set special time aside for it. For example, practice gratitude right now for something – anything. You can be thankful that you have a device connected to the internet – allowing you to read this article. Take a deep breath and clear your mind. Only focus on the task at hand. Let go of worrying about the future and things that have not happened and stop torturing yourself over the past. Realize right now that in this second you are ok. We could go on for days about how much we love this practice but instead, here are some of our favorite ways to enact mindfulness all throughout your day.

There are many ways to practice mindfulness and the more you do it the more you won’t even have to try. When you take the time to enjoy the present, things start to look brighter. It will feel like a weight has been lifted. Everything is ok. You are enough and things will be fine.
