Starting a Daily Practice
It is simple to start a daily practice. We highly recommend exploring the different types of meditations you can do. Usually, we like to use mediation for a purpose. Your purpose initially can be to simply go within. Start off slow and be patient with yourself. Begin with just five minutes a day for a week. Increase your time in meditation each week, as you feel called. In that time frame remember that this time is yours. Bring your focus to the present only, releasing the past and thoughts of the future. Become the observer of your thoughts. It is ok if random things pop into your head. Just observe them and let them pass. Notice the sensations in your body and the air filling your lungs. To add more focus, bring your awareness only to your breath. You can also use a mantra or repeat a high vibrational word like “Love” over and over. Guided meditations are also a great resource when you are developing your practice. Stick to it and watch the magic unfold!
